Miami Hurricanes vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Miami Hurricanes vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Show notes

Welcome into season 4 of the good, old fashioned dislike podcast where dynasties never die and “hate” is an extreme word but just barely. On this podcast we pick a football rivalry and we submit that rivalry to the “panel of dislike”. They will come up with reasons why we like one team, dislike one team and vice versa. By the end we come to a conclusion of where our football loyalties lie mainly based on non-football things but that’s what’s so much fun! This year we are introducing the Dislike National Title combining our favorite sport with Sports Entertainment style championship. We begin this year with the composite Bottom Ten Disliked teams from the panel. The last team on the list to lose will be the first Dislike National Title holder. The first team to beat them will then carry the title until dethroned. So the initial Top Ten of Dislike are:

  1. Tennessee
  2. Notre Dame
  3. Auburn
  4. Georgia
  5. LSU
  6. Ohio State
  7. Clemson
  8. Texas
  9. Alabama
  10. Ole Miss Dishonorable mentions: Miami, Auburn’s basketball team, Florida State, Florida, Texas A&M, Colorado, La Monroe, UCLA, UCF, Arkansas, Oregon, Michigan & Boise State

Be sure to tell us in the comments who you’re rooting for when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel to South Beach to face the Hurricanes of Miami. These teams met for the first time on October 7, 1955. They last met in 2017. Notre Dame leads the all-time series 18-8-1. The Fighting Irish went 14-2 in 2024. Miami finished 10-3 last year.
